TEPPFA at Plastic Pipes XVIII Berlin 2016
12 – 14 September, 2016 the 18th Plastic Pipes Conference took place in Berlin, following its very successful predecessors –PPXVII in Chicago, USA in 2014 and PPXVI in Barcelona, Spain in 2012. TEPPFA, proud sponsor of the Gala Dinner, also participated with several delegates giving presentations.
PPXVIII was a fully international event, hosting delegates from over 43 countries. All visitors and participants had the opportunity to learn the latest developments in the plastic piping materials, test methods and uses, as well as to present their ideas and information to an international audience focused on all aspects of the plastic piping industry.

We gave industry veteran Henk Meerman 10 minutes to come up with answers to 10 searching questions, with some interesting results, take a look.
Since 2010 TEPPFA has issued a number of EPD’s (Environmental Product Declaration) to describe the environmental impact of plastic pipe systems, thus providing a transparent way for stakeholders in the building industry to track how our products affect the environment.

All TEPPFA member companies are committed to continuously improve the safety performance of all sites. In 2012 a new task force was created to focus specifically on worker’s safety. Their objective is to share knowledge and expertise towards the ultimate goal of zero accidents.
Where safeguarding the interests of the European Plastic Pipes and Fittings industry at a European level is concerned, often referred to as public affairs, but perhaps better known as lobbying or advocacy activities, it can be said that TEPPFA punches above its weight!
