PPXVIII was a fully international event, hosting delegates from over 43 countries. All visitors and participants had the opportunity to learn the latest developments in the plastic piping materials, test methods and uses, as well as to present their ideas and information to an international audience focused on all aspects of the plastic piping industry.

End-users, designers, engineers, manufacturers (resin, additives, pipe, and equipment) and contractors were among the attendees. The PPCA’s dedicated work once again provided a platform for the distribution and discussion of technical, scientific and market information in order to support the world-wide use of plastic pipe systems.

Conference Chairman and Pipelife’s Products and Innovations Officer Zoran Davidovski expressed his absolute delight with the Conference: “Our recent Berlin Conference was a resounding success. It attracted almost 450 participants from 43 countries and covered the very latest developments in plastic pipe technology as well as the global industry that pioneers its application. A total of 116 papers and 14 posters were delivered to the Conference and our Exhibition was our largest ever with 39 exhibitors,” said Mr. Davidovski.

The following Plastic Pipes XIX Conference and Exhibition will take place in Las Vegas, US at the Red Rock Resort on the 24 – 26 September 2018. With regards to it, Mr. Davidovski added: “Our Las Vegas event is expected to be slightly larger in scale and scope. Nevada is the driest state in the US and is rapidly becoming a showcase for water management on a world scale. Plastic pipes are playing a vital role there in water harvesting, drainage and delivery.”

Key subjects, which will be covered in Las Vegas, will focus on technical and marketing issues relating to the materials, design and development, testing, installation and operation of plastic pipe systems. Best practice will be viewed through the prism of sustainability as well as the use of landmark case studies. Technical and engineering pipe solutions will also be reviewed and the conference program will identify market trends for further growth in the use of plastic pipes.
Once again, organizers of PPXIX are the Plastic Pipes Conference Association (PPCA).
